My brother and I just pulled what looks and feels like a ton of seaweed out of the lake today.
Pulling seaweed out of a lake is like a cross between raking leaves and shoveling snow. At least in this case, as someone upshore cut a bunch of seaweed in their part of the lake, and it was floating near the top of the water in ours, thanks to the power of wind. So you pull the rake through the seaweed, and then shovel it out of the water. This left us with four very large piles of seaweed next to our docks. And now my arms hurt. Waterlogged seaweed is heavy.
And now time to put shelves together.
