Stuck in my cube...
Jun. 13th, 2007 07:28 pmI think management finally got it through their fucking skulls that 7S and Kaizen may not be the best approach to every problem.
Right now, we've got Test and Production working together to build a better mousetrap, so to speak. And by mousetrap, I really mean flamethrower. I have yet to see any project move this quickly. The proper motivation really can work wonders. Also, Mike's not here.
Eric's candy stash is getting smaller every minute. But the vending machines should hold for a while longer. At least until we can send one of the TK trucks out to bring back food and other supplies. But that will have to wait until we can properly arm an escort.
When I saw the first wave of those... things crawling out of the lake, it was all I could do to run back inside. We had to leave Stan behind. He's one of them by now. It's surprising there was enough of him left with how voraciously they were tearing off his flesh.
Sweetie... I miss you... I hope we both make it out of this alive. Call David if the phone lines are still working. He will know what to do.
