Either the walls in this complex are ultra-thin, people have no sense of normal acceptable noise levels, or both. (I'm leaning towards both, myself.)
The girl across the hall from me plays loud Christian rock in the afternoons. Which is overlapped by tv dramas from around two doors down the hall. I can hear the TV next door like it's in my room. Either there's a very squeaky door somewhere or someone's hiding a small infant in their room. Possibly so it will still be fresh when they decide to consume it. Oh, and when the girl above me engages in sexual intercourse (at least I hope that's what she's doing...) it sounds like someone's ass-raping a poodle. A poodle from the twisted universe of Hentai games where being raped is somehow enjoyable. Thankfully for me (not for her...) Her partner doesn't seem to be able to last very long.
Actually, since it is past 10, and I can hear the television clearly from another room, I could technically get my neighbors fined $300. But I won't. Because I'm not a bitch.
Now. On a completely different topic, am I unapproachable? Yes? No? Only under certain circumstances?
Also, I replaced my boot-up splash screen with a picture of Harley and the Joker. This makes my computer slightly further from lame than it was previously.
