The Legend of Dragoon

Lately I've been playing a game that isn't *terribly* well-known. Why? Because it's not Square, and therefore not Final Fantasy. Though in its defense, Legend of Dragoon *is* a good game. It seems to take a lot of cues from Final Fantasy, but nowhere near enough to make it a Final Fantasy wannabe, as some people claim it to be.

I mean... it doesn't even have an airship. Though the Queen Fury *does* kick some major ass. Coolest steam-powered aquatic vessel ever. If only it could fly...

The battle system is also cool. It requires slightly more attention than most Final Fantasy systems. With the exception of Tactics... but we don't talk about that game. And regaining life when you guard almost makes up for your severely limited inventory space.

However, cool as it is, it's no Final Fantasy. If it were, it might have gotten more recognition. It might have even been a better game. It certainly would have had a better translation. Ah well. On to the point of my post.

Legend of Dragoon has some good music. Such as the following song, which is the first track on the OST.
