Unfortunate.

First off, a thank you to the efforts of Duluth, Mankato, Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and Winona. North Mankato and Saint Peter can have honorable mentions, too, I guess. Rochester, I'm disappointed. Not surprised, mind. But disappointed.

Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, and probably California. I'm disappointed in you, too.

Um may I ask what your are referring to?

Me too. What did California do?

It looks likely that proposition 8 (http://www.voterguide.sos.ca.gov/title-sum/prop8-title-sum.htm) will pass.

No shit. I had heard about prop 8 but wasn't following it closely. I'm surprised at California for passing that.

The Minnesota cities are based on the senate election, which hasn't been called yet, and is within a few hundred votes.

The states mentioned all passed (well, California hasn't been called yet, but it's ahead by a few hundred thousand votes) ballot initiatives I strongly disagree with. In Florida, Arizona, and California, these are state constitution amendments banning gay marriage, and in Arkansas, it's a law prohibiting unmarried couples from adopting children.
